I’m going to try something new. Actually, I’m just adding an extra track on Track Thursdays because people have been telling me that all my songs sound the same. No they do not sound the same!! Twin Track Thursdays will show you two very different styles of music, and hopefully you will like them too!
The blog portion: I’ve been babysitting my friend’s two hamsters for the past two weeks. What a mess they can make! They are named after characters and sayings from the movie, The Sixth Sense. Multipass and Leeloo. I took a snapshot of one and threw it in the banner for you to enjoy! See if you can spot it.
Also, setting up this new layout was such a pain in the butt! But fear not. The banner will continuously get new images in the rotation to keep you interested. Do you like the quotes? I hand-picked them myself!
The Cinematic Orchestra – To Build A Home
This is completely different! Sounds like James Blunt? Heck no! That’s Patrick Watson. He’s amazing, no? I have two of his CDs, but I definitely thought that this was oddly missing from the collection. I heard this song on TV on who knows what episode. When looking them up on wikipedia, it was The Cinematic Orchestra! Long story short, I thought that this duo was meant to be. 🙂

Vivek Shraya – Seven Nation Army (White Stripes cover)
I heard them on another blog, missingtoof, and the cover stuck with me. He is on MySpace, if you are interested in seeing his other works. I love the odd trash can slamming in the background, and it offers quite a unique solo singing from the old White Stripes version. Enjoy!
