Ok I apologize. “Steven, you’re already behind.” I’m writing this post in the Detroit terminal waiting for my connecting flight. See how dedicated I am? Now read, my friends!
This week, we have colossal hits hitting the scene.
Lady Gaga – Applause
Mother monster is back with a sick new track. Drag queens in the music video? Sickening!
Due to the influx of this leaked track on the airways, Lady Gaga has called for a “POP MUSIC EMERGENCY”.
POP MUSIC EMERGENCY #0DAYSTillAPPLAUSE MY NEW SINGLE COMES OUT TODAY. 911 SPREAD THIS MESSAGE
— Lady Gaga (@ladygaga) August 12, 2013
Let’s hope this upcoming album ARTPOP will be better than the last. Do you remember any singles from her last album? I don’t either.
Katy Perry – Roar
Lady Gaga’s single came out only after hours of Katy Perry’s new single.
Are you filled with questions as much as I am?
1. Katy Perry just launched her newest single as well this week. Is she finally out of singles from her last album?
2. Lady Gaga has managed to climb past Katy Perry in less than a few hours. Fate? PR scheme?
3. Do I see a collaboration in the future? Lady Gaga and Katy Perry want to “F*** Up Some Hackers”
Claws out and paws up! Whether it was planned or not, these two singles have made my week.
Miley Cyrus – We Can’t Stop (Director’s Cut)
Now what can I follow up with these two singles? Dear ol’ reliable Miley Cyrus.
This song is funky and fresh! Oh Miley, how you’ve grown up into this… lady!
Selena Gomez – Slow Down
Selena Gomez throws it down in Slow Down. I must say – her voice is beautiful! This song is all sorts of pop candy! Though, I am not dying for the name of the album, Stars Dance.
Carly Rae Jepsen – Tonight I’m Getting Over You
Carly manages to get to the top of the chart again with another single. She’s already getting over the one that called her, maybe.
Like my Fave Five Fridays? Let me know!
